Sally - The Fax Cat

Sallie is a rescue cat that came to live with us a few years ago.  She happily spends her days  playing with toy mice and listening for the fax to ring so she can supervise the delivery of the fax pages.

When she is not chasing pages out of the fax machine, Sallie is a working cat and keeps our offices free from any pests that might want to take up residence with us.  Occasionally she will try to answer the phone, so if you ever call and hear purring noises, you know that Sallie beat us.

We Support the Humane Society of the United States & The Guilford County Animal Shelter

  • Dogs jump on people for one of two reasons, or both.  They want to greet you at face level to say "Hello" and/or they are testing you to see if their position in the group is dominant or subordinate to yours.
  • Make sure your dog or cat is wearing a collar with an identification tag in case it should get lost.  To be safe, keep cats inside and walk your dog on a leash.
  • Studies show kittens, puppies, cats and dogs make great companion animals for lonely senior citizens.
  • Remember, a pet is a lifetime commitment.
  • Support your local animal shelter.
